After the battle between Lin Lei and Magnus, Lin Lei bid farewell to Resjing and the others, preparing to head to the Underworld.

Meanwhile, Qiankun, Gaia, and Mo Si planned to return directly to Hell. As Qiankun, Mo Si, and Gaia passed through the dimensional battlefield’s teleportation portal and arrived back at the Purgatory in Hell, they immediately received a telepathic summons from Theresia, the Wind Elemental Archon: “Qiankun, come to me for a moment.”

Qiankun greeted Mo Si and Gaia briefly and then proceeded to meet Theresia.

This time, Theresia had heard that Qiankun had reached the Great Perfection level, prompting her to personally come see him. Having a Great Perfection-level Archon’s envoy was a source of great pride and delight for her. Moreover, recruiting Qiankun as her Archon’s envoy even before he reached Great Perfection made other Archons admire Theresia’s insight, boosting her prestige.

Qiankun clearly sensed Theresia’s exceptionally warm attitude toward him, treating him more like a friend than a mere subordinate envoy. In fact, Theresia bestowed upon Qiankun an Archon’s token.

Because Qiankun had obtained ten golden badges, Theresia granted him, at his request, a soul defense Archon artifact. Furthermore, she generously gifted Qiankun a thousand drops of Archon power for each of eleven different elemental laws—a truly grand gesture. Yet, such gifts were merely embellishments to Qiankun, who was not particularly concerned with Archon powers.

After receiving the Archon artifact, Qiankun reunited with Mo Si and Gaia and immediately presented the soul defense Archon artifact to Gaia. Although Gaia was initially reluctant to accept it, Qiankun’s insistence persuaded her to take it.

Mo Si was also in high spirits. During this trip to the dimensional battlefield, he too had collected ten golden badges and exchanged them with the Archon for a material defense Archon artifact. Mo Si himself was an Archon envoy and a Destroyer Sovereign’s envoy, and he had long since obtained an attack Archon artifact. Since his achievements in soul cultivation were second only to Great Perfection, his material defense had been somewhat lacking. Now, with the material defense Archon artifact, Mo Si had become even more formidable.

After leaving Purgatory, the three planned to visit Mo Si’s Miluo Island first. However, just a month or two after leaving Purgatory, Gaia discovered she was pregnant, a reward for Qiankun’s relentless efforts in the dimensional battlefield.

During the journey, Gaia carried the child to full term and gave birth to a son named Hevis.

Because Hevis was still young and Qiankun’s family wished to avoid hardship, Qiankun and Gaia reluctantly parted ways with Mo Si midway. They settled temporarily on an island in the Endless Starry Mist Sea, home to a city inhabited by numerous deities. They remained there until Hevis reached adulthood and attained the Saint Realm level. Only then did the family of three leave the island and prepare to return to the Four Divine Beasts clan in Youlan Prefecture on the Blood Peak Continent.

When they departed, the family had grown from three to four members, and before long, it would become five.

---

It was not Gaia who was expecting again, but rather Hevis who had married—and his wife was an Archon-level deity. She worked as a waitress at a restaurant Qiankun and his family frequented, and through their interactions, Hevis became acquainted with her. Though she was much older than Hevis, she was kind and virtuous, earning Qiankun and Gaia’s approval.

Qiankun had never imagined that his son Hevis, only at the Saint Realm level, would so quickly find a wife and soon make him a grandfather.

Hevis’s wife was named Youya. Though she was an Archon, her cultivation talent was only average. Her attainment of Archon status was largely due to the many years of cultivation. Conversely, Hevis, as the son of Qiankun and Gaia, had excellent talent. Under Qiankun’s careful guidance, even before returning to the Four Divine Beasts clan for the ancestral hall baptism, Hevis had already become a deity of the Wind Elemental Law.

During this period, due to Youya’s childbirth, Qiankun’s family lived for several decades in a city on another island within the Starry Mist Sea. Only after Hevis and Youya’s daughter, Della, grew up and entered the Saint Realm did they continue their journey toward the Four Divine Beasts clan.

Compared to their outstanding son Hevis, Della was rather ordinary. Though she easily reached the Saint Realm thanks to her Azure Dragon bloodline, her talent for elemental laws was poor. It was uncertain how long she would take to independently cultivate into a deity. Even if she attained deity status through ancestral hall baptism focusing on the Water Elemental Law, gaining talent in that domain, significant achievements seemed unlikely.

Qiankun, however, was not overly concerned and doted on Della nonetheless. Regardless of her abilities, she was his only granddaughter.

Gaia felt somewhat disappointed. She had high hopes for her granddaughter. In truth, Gaia loved Della deeply and hoped she would excel in every way. Moreover, Della resembled Gaia greatly. Seeing her granddaughter reminded Gaia of her own carefree days sheltered by her father when she was young.

After a long and arduous journey, the family finally returned to the Four Divine Beasts clan after nearly a century. Their arrival was warmly welcomed by senior members like Gaislesen, primarily because Qiankun had achieved Great Perfection.

These years, ever since learning that both Lin Lei and Qiankun had attained Great Perfection in the dimensional battlefield, the Four Divine Beasts clan had been overjoyed.

As a Great Perfection-level powerhouse and Gaia’s partner, Gaislesen personally ordered the construction of a grand mansion for Qiankun within the Azure Dragon clan. The estate was vast, with numerous palaces and castles, spacious enough to accommodate hundreds or even thousands comfortably.

Qiankun’s family of five settled there, with Gaislesen arranging many attendants and servants, their hospitality beyond words.

Soon after, Gaislesen assigned people to conduct ancestral hall baptisms for Hevis and Della, elevating them to lower Archon levels in the Water Elemental domain, granting them the talent of azure light energy. However, their strength was still insufficient to fully wield their innate divine powers.

Only a few decades after Qiankun’s family returned to the Four Divine Beasts clan, Lin Lei came back from the Underworld, bringing with him numerous descendants of the Four Divine Beasts clan from the Yulan Continent dimensional plane, along with three close brothers and Beibei’s parents. The entire extended family gathered in Hell.

The days that followed remained peaceful, at least for Qiankun. Apart from cultivation, there were few events. Besides training and accompanying Gaia, Qiankun mostly guided and taught his descendants.

A millennium passed swiftly. Qiankun’s descendants multiplied greatly. Thanks to their Azure Dragon bloodline, they easily reached the Saint Realm. Coupled with ancestral hall baptism granting them deity status and long lifespans, their population naturally grew, and Qiankun became revered as the patriarch.

After a thousand years with the Four Divine Beasts clan, Qiankun grew bored and decided to venture into the Material Plane. The young ones, despite ancestral hall baptism granting them deity status, were still weak—at most middle-level Archons. Their strength was insufficient for survival outside Hell.

When Qiankun departed, most of his descendants accompanied him to the Material Plane. Thus, Qiankun took Gaia, their son and daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and others with him. Through the Blood Peak Continent’s Iron Blade Gorge teleportation array, they traveled to the Material Plane.

The O’Kalen Plane was one among countless material planes, comparable in size to the Yulan Continent plane. However, over ninety-nine percent of the Yulan Continent plane was ocean, whereas O’Kalen had predominantly landmass.

O’Kalen featured two vast continents, the Mist Continent and the Beast God Continent, each spanning hundreds of millions of miles. The Mist Continent was ruled by humans, while the Beast God Continent was governed by beastmen.

At the center of the Mist Continent lay the formidable Mist Forest, covering tens of millions of miles.

Deep within the Mist Forest, Mount Wisel was the highest peak, soaring a hundred thousand meters. Atop Mount Wisel stood eleven massive teleportation arrays and a courtyard built from giant stones, where the O’Kalen plane’s dimensional guardian resided.
