The indifferent middle-aged man in the black robe changed his expression and hurriedly swung his ice-cold halberd to block. Yet, just as the halberd was about to deflect the sword light, the dark red ray flickered due to a sudden fluctuation in the surrounding space, shifting slightly to the side and continuing toward him with undiminished speed.

*Puff.* Before he could dodge, the Yuantu Divine Sword pierced directly into the black-robed man’s chest, passing clean through.

His eyes widened, and he instinctively looked down at the bleeding wound on his chest. His face filled with resentment, the light in his eyes dimmed. As his vitality rapidly drained away, he instantly transformed into a shriveled, massive black python, with two clear, gaping holes where the sword had passed through its body.

Almost simultaneously, the cold and gaunt ancestor in the black Taoist robe, known as Ancestor Binghe, flickered like a teleporting figure and appeared before Daoist Yuantu. He thrust his ice awl, which radiated a sharp, frigid aura, straight at the Daoist. The very space seemed to be pierced through by the force of the weapon.

*Clang.* A deep, metallic sound rang out. A grayish-black divine sword erupted from Daoist Yuantu’s chest to parry the ice awl—it was the Abi Divine Sword.

The Yuantu Divine Sword, having slain the black-robed man, was enveloped in a thick mist of blood. After rapidly absorbing the sanguine energy, it once again transformed into a bloody streak of light and struck at Ancestor Binghe’s back.

"Hmm?" Seeing his ice awl blocked by the Abi Divine Sword and sensing the sharp sword intent behind him, Ancestor Binghe’s expression shifted. He hurriedly turned to dodge, only to find himself suddenly engulfed by rising bloody flames.

*Sshhh.* With a sharp, screeching friction, the Yuantu Divine Sword grazed past him. Ancestor Binghe, wrapped in a protective layer of ice, remained unscathed by the sword, and the terrifying flames of the Red Lotus of Karma failed to damage his ice shield in the slightest.

"Hmph, this Ancestor Binghe is truly troublesome," Daoist Yuantu muttered with a frown. As he watched the ancestor retreat, he suddenly felt a ripple in the air. Looking up, he saw a giant net descending from the mist above. It appeared to be woven from transparent, icy threads, radiating a freezing chill and rising vapor. Before he could react, it had already trapped him.

"Attack together!" Following Ancestor Binghe’s deep, sharp command, he launched his ice awl once more. The dozen or so Great Golden Immortals also unleashed their own divine weapons and spiritual treasures. A barrage of sharp, multicolored beams pierced through the gaps of the icy net, raining down upon Daoist Yuantu.

Caught completely off guard by this trap, Daoist Yuantu’s expression turned grim. A fierce light flickered in his eyes. Both the Abi and Yuantu swords in his hands erupted with intense sword energy, while the Twelve-Petaled Red Lotus of Karma beneath his feet expanded rapidly, its blood-red petals blooming to shield his entire body.

*Clang, clang.* Amidst the deep sounds of collision, the Red Lotus of Karma trembled slightly as it faced the long-range bombardment. Blood-red flames surged across its surface, knocking away the various weapons and treasures.

*Sshhh, sshhh.* The power of the Red Lotus exploded, and the scorching flames swept outward, instantly turning the area around Daoist Yuantu into a sea of red fire. Even the icy net began to hiss and emit white steam.

Immediately after, Daoist Yuantu shot upward from the partially opened lotus. The Abi and Yuantu swords in his hands unleashed two dazzling beams of light, slashing against the icy net. The net trembled violently and, as if shrinking in pain, flew back toward Ancestor Binghe.

"What? His strength is this immense?" Ancestor Binghe’s expression changed, and he looked at Daoist Yuantu in disbelief. "He has definitely stepped into the Quasi-Saint realm, and judging by the power he just displayed, he seems even stronger than I am!"

Surging with malevolent energy, Daoist Yuantu let out a hearty laugh. His gaze, sharp as lightning, fixed on Ancestor Binghe. "Haha! Ancestor Binghe, is this all you have? Try taking two of my strikes!"

Before his voice had even faded, Daoist Yuantu’s figure blurred. Man and sword became one, appearing as two arcs of light that swept toward the ancestor. Wherever the sword light passed, the space twisted and distorted.

Gritting his teeth, Ancestor Binghe desperately blocked one of the sword beams with his ice awl, but the second beam landed directly upon him.

*Clang.* A harsh, metallic screech rang out. The ice shield that had suddenly manifested around him shook violently, and Ancestor Binghe was thrown backward, a trace of blood leaking from the corner of his mouth.

"A defensive treasure, is it?" Glancing at the quivering shield that had just emerged, Daoist Yuantu narrowed his eyes, his killing intent deepening.

This Ancestor Binghe was indeed no easy foe to be a Quasi-Saint-level powerhouse. He had already deployed at least three spiritual treasures, and judging by their power, they were likely all high-grade Innate treasures. Killing him would be difficult, but the rewards would be substantial. Three high-grade Innate treasures were enough to tempt any Quasi-Saint.

"Hmm?" Just as Daoist Yuantu prepared to strike again, he heard a sharp whistling sound. A quick glance revealed the dozen Great Golden Immortals once again launching their weapons at him. Such a coordinated assault, even if the quality of their treasures was mediocre, was not something he could afford to ignore.

He activated the Red Lotus of Karma to protect himself while waving the Abi and Yuantu swords. The sword light flashed like lightning, parrying several incoming weapons in rapid succession.

*Clang, clang.* With deep, echoing thuds, those divine weapons lost their luster and flew back, moaning as their internal essences were damaged. Their masters, linked to the treasures, immediately coughed up blood.

Daoist Yuantu was a Quasi-Saint. When he wielded the Abi and Yuantu swords with his full power, reinforced by the laws of the Dao, how could these ordinary mid-to-low-grade Innate or acquired treasures withstand their sharpness?

"A bunch of ants seeking death!" Coldly eyeing the remaining cultivators, Daoist Yuantu vanished in a flash and dove into their midst.

Seeing him charge, the dozen Great Golden Immortals turned pale and scattered in every direction like birds, none daring to face him head-on. The sight of him decisively killing the black-robed man was still fresh in their minds.

"Fleeing? Do you think you can escape?" Daoist Yuantu sneered. Like a tiger among sheep, he moved through the crowd. With a few flashes of his blade, blood sprayed, and amidst shrill screams, several more Great Golden Immortals were slain, their bodies reverting to their original forms as they plummeted from the sky.

Just as Daoist Yuantu prepared to hunt down the others, he saw Ancestor Binghe returning, his expression ghastly.

"Hmph!" With a disdainful snort and a cold smile, Daoist Yuantu met him head-on. His left hand parried the ice awl with the Abi sword, while his right hand unleashed the destructive power of the Yuantu sword. A beam of dark red light, as if tearing through space itself, slammed into the ancestor. The newly manifested ice shield groaned and shattered, exposing Ancestor Binghe’s body.

*Puff.* Though the power of the Yuantu sword had been somewhat diminished, it still pierced into the ancestor’s abdomen. Sword energy erupted within, and in a spray of blood, Ancestor Binghe’s body was severed in two.
