The book officially launched today with 6,600 followers, but only 28 average subscriptions. It is nothing short of a collapse. Even if half of those 6,600 followers were fake, you would expect at least 300 subscriptions out of the remaining 3,000, wouldn't you?

As it turns out, only 28 people subscribed, setting a new record for the lowest average subscription count in my entire writing career.

I truly believe this book is well-written and crafted with genuine care. I spent a long time designing the subsequent plotlines. All the foreshadowing laid out so far—the underground ruins, the Azure Sea Sect, the tremors across the Nine Provinces when Wang Ran attained enlightenment, the characters who appeared only briefly, including the mysterious girl—are all integral to the later stages of the story. I would describe the upcoming plot as high-octane and exhilarating.

When I started this book, I was full of confidence, believing I could achieve legendary status with a single work and hit the bestseller list right out of the gate. I even spent two thousand yuan to boost the rankings for a week, but reality is cruel. I have a heart full of passion, yet no means to unleash it.

Xianxia is simply impossible to sustain; 28 average subscriptions is nothing short of miserable.
