A stretch of mountains and forests spanning dozens of miles seemed to collapse under heaven’s wrath, three or four small peaks blasted into nothingness.

The earth trembled violently. Gale-force winds lashed upward into the sky, scattering a rain cloud more than a hundred miles wide into thin air and revealing a swath of sapphire blue above. Brilliant sunlight, unseen for more than half a month, poured down in blazing radiance, illuminating the mountain range.

Crack-crack, ha-ha-ha, caw-caw!

Mamma was shrieking like a mad monkey. Her long hair streamed wildly behind her; the gold ring that had bound it had long since flown away. Her small body darted to and fro with sharp whistling sounds, leaving trails of afterimages as she gripped the mountain god’s massive arm and hurled him about in a frenzy.

The mountain god, towering nearly thirty feet high, roared and bellowed in rage, yet he could not escape those pair of delicate, snow-white little hands.

Dragging the mountain god’s enormous body around, Mamma appeared and vanished like a specter. In one instant she was here, slamming him violently into the ground; in the next she was dozens of miles away, kicking him savagely and smashing him deep into the earth, then casually uprooting a small mountain and bringing it crashing down upon his head.

Her movements were as fleeting as shooting stars. Each time she struck, the air quaked and roared, exploding with thunderclap-like booms. Waves of white shock bursts shot madly in all directions. Vast swaths of forest swayed and snapped, and trunks and branches of all sizes flew into the sky like a sudden rainstorm before slowly falling again dozens of miles away.

Ji Hao held Mamma’s wolf-fang club and stared, dumbstruck, at the little girl’s nearly insane assault.

She had not used witchpower. There was not the slightest ripple of force around her. Mamma was relying purely on physical strength, beating this enormous mountain god, whose body was immense and whose divine power limitless, until he cried out to heaven and the earth with no power to resist.

At the very least, this massive mountain god possessed the strength of a Great Witch, and among Great Witches he could even be counted as an exceptionally formidable one. Yet Mamma, relying only on her body, could absolutely suppress such a being. What terrifying brute strength was this?

“I’ve heard that when a dragon’s hatchling is born, it already has physical strength comparable to that of an ordinary Great Witch. Mamma’s strength may well be comparable to that of a dragon descendant,” Ji Hao said, stunned, as he wiped a thread of saliva from the corner of his mouth and turned to Ying Yan.

With no small pride, Ying Yan stroked his beard and lowered his voice carefully. “When the young mistress was born, the old master had already measured her strength. It was equal to that of ten hatchling dragons. And her strength grows greater day by day. As she is now, with both arms alone, she may be able to stand against a top-tier Great Witch, perhaps even stronger.”

Even with all his cultivation and composure, Ji Hao was still thoroughly frightened by Ying Yan’s words.

Among all the countless races in this world, the dragon race possessed one of the most powerful bodies. Among all young creatures, dragon hatchlings were among the strongest. But when Mamma had just been born, her physical strength had already been equal to the combined might of ten hatchling dragons?

“This... this...” Ji Hao’s pupils widened several times over, and thunder and lightning seemed to crackle through his mind. So frightened was he that he could not speak.

Ying Yan became even prouder. Seeing Ji Hao’s expression, he straightened his chest with great reserve. “Only, the cost of all this would terrify a person to death if spoken of. The young mistress’s mother comes from a noble line, and while the young mistress was still in her mother’s womb, she was nourished day and night by countless wondrous treasures of heaven and earth. That is why she has this body of unbelievable strength today.”

Ha!

Laughter boomed like thunder, hurting Ji Hao’s eardrums. Mamma sprang high into the air, wrapped both arms around the mountain god’s neck, and with a strange roaring embrace hurled him viciously to the ground. A mountain was rent apart with a deafening crash, revealing a ravine so deep that no bottom could be seen.

The mountain god opened his mouth and spat out a mouthful of yellow blood essence. In his fury, he finally unleashed all of his mountain god power, and countless earthen-yellow runes beneath his skin flared to life at once.

All around them, dozens of mountains trembled violently. Waves upon waves of earthen-yellow mist transformed into dragon shapes visible to the naked eye and continuously poured into the mountain god’s body. With a deep roar, the ten-thousand-foot mountain god’s body rapidly grew and swelled under the nourishment of the yellow energy, and in the blink of an eye he stood some thirty feet taller still.

Mamma shouted and laughed in great excitement. Leaping upward, she kicked straight for the mountain god’s forehead.

“Big fellow, put some force into it! Don’t be so limp!”

Amid her cackling laughter, the mountain god gave a low roar and swept both hands forward. A phantom image of a great earthen-yellow mountain slowly condensed before him. Mamma’s kick landed hard on the hundred-yard-wide mountain phantom, and a thunderous crash rolled deep through the earth.

At that moment, the mountain god had become one with the mountain veins that had birthed him. The earth within a thousand miles became his source of power, and all of Mamma’s attacks upon him were transferred into the ground across that thousand-mile span.

Unless Mamma could shatter a mountain range a thousand miles wide in a single blow, her attacks could not harm the mountain god in the slightest.

Strike, strike, strike!

Mamma roared loudly, instantly leaving behind thousands of afterimages in the air. Countless afterimages simultaneously hurled fists and kicks at the great mountain phantom condensed by the mountain god. Dull, heavy crashes rang out without end. The earth trembled violently, tiny cracks continually appeared across the ground, then rapidly healed under the nourishment of the yellow earth energy.

The several peaks that had just been shattered by Mamma’s brute force rose again from where they stood and swiftly returned to their original state. The mountain god roared deeply. Shielded by that mountain phantom, his eyes flashed with fierce yellow ghost-light as he suddenly bellowed at Mamma.

With a tremendous boom, a huge stone the size of a yard shot from the mountain god’s mouth and slammed viciously into Mamma.

This was a divine stone condensed by the power of the earth veins, not an ordinary rock of nature. Though it was only a yard or so across, it weighed more than a million tons. Carrying a dreadful gravitational field of its own, the divine stone tore through the air; even the air and light in its path seemed to distort.

Mamma, unprepared for this move, was struck hard. Her armor flashed suddenly, and her small body was hurled out in a straight white line, smashing headlong into a great mountain a hundred miles away.

The mountain god gave a low roar and pointed casually. The divine stone flew even faster, tearing through the air with a shrill whistle as it smashed down hard toward Mamma, who had been driven deep into the mountain. This blow was extraordinarily fierce. With the force gathered from a thousand miles of earth veins by the mountain god, even a top-tier Great Witch would be badly injured by it.

Ying Yan cried out. He, who had always been so dignified and composed, was frightened so badly that he jumped to his feet at once and, trailing a blaze of fire, flew toward Mamma.

In the crater Mamma had smashed into the mountain, a flash of fire burst forth. An indescribable and overwhelming heavenly might swept out in all directions. A streak of red light shot forth, and Ji Hao only felt the temperature around the mountains and forests rise abruptly to a terrifying degree before plunging down again just as quickly.

The divine stone condensed from the earth veins melted silently into a wisp of blue smoke. A streak of fire shot across a hundred miles and slammed brutally into the mountain god’s chest, punching a transparent hole through it.

Countless dark-red runes, burning fiercely, spread rapidly around the wound and quickly covered the mountain god’s body.

The mountain god roared in a low voice, spitting out mouthfuls of earthen-yellow blood as he fell to his knees in a miserable state. A brand of slavery, formed of flame, quietly appeared between his brows. This mountain god had been completely bound by some miraculous power Mamma had unleashed.

Within the firelight, a pale-faced Mamma flew slowly out, holding up a red command token three feet long.
